West Michigan based core processor, CU*Answers recently hosted an informational webinar on Mortgage Servicing for our CU*BASE clients. Lender*VP, in collaboration with Xtend mortgage servicing, offers escrow processing and investor reporting services for its credit unions. For a nominal monthly fee, the team is able to reduce the burden on credit union staff by providing a dedicated expert to perform these tasks. Escrow processing includes paying property taxes, homeowners insurance and PMI. Investor reporting services include daily or monthly investor payment remittance, monthly reporting preparation, and daily balancing. Lender*RE currently provides these services on a daily basis to thirty-eight credit unions, and recently contracted with an additional three credit unions for this service.
