The Earnings Edge team at CU*Answers recently assisted Lakes Community Credit Union (Lake Orion, MI) with the launch of a new service charge. Lakes Community was interested in automation strategies to ensure that their team would not have to perform the assessment of their new service charge manually. With the help of the Earnings Edge team, the credit union was able to launch the new service charge in January.
Reviewing fee schedules and existing service charges for automation opportunities are a specialty of the Earnings Edge team. The team can help review what is already in place, what your credit union or your board of directors is dreaming up in the future and can also assist with the analytical information related to how a change to your fee schedule may have an impact on the membership of a credit union.
Keegan Daniel, Vice President of Professional Services, stated that “fee schedule updates do not always have to be a burden for credit unions. The Earnings Edge team can identify, analyze, and configure a service charge for our credit unions. The goal is to ensure that service charges are automated and tested to meet the needs of the credit union.”
