West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, CU*Answers, and network partner Xtend are working on a program for sharing employees during peak demand. Xtend, a sister company of CU*Answers, conducts member facing services for credit unions and has grown quickly over its eight years in business. To meet rising demand, including sudden spikes in the volume of work, the two companies will work together to help alleviate credit union and member frustration, allowing all the teams to answer questions quickly.
Jerry Collins, CU*Answers Collections Manager said, “We have offered some of our team to step in during and after normal business hours when demand is high, for example immediately following a new credit union conversion to CU*BASE®. This type of collaborative, employee-sharing program is what makes the cooperative model a win-win for all parties.”
