CU*Answers, a West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, announced that its Collections division has added its first client on the West Coast. Partnering with CU*NorthWest, Lender*VP Collections will serve a California credit union. “The credit union was looking for someone to expand their team, but had a limited budget and room. By leveraging our team to work remotely, they save money and other team members can focus on other work,” said Jerry Collins, collections manager.

CU*Answers offers ancillary services like bookkeeping and web services in addition to collections. They found that offering these services can bring an expertise to the credit union that may not currently exist. They can use their economies of scale model to provide expert services and at a very economical price.
