CU*Answers is Promoting Bill Pay in a New Way

CU*Answers, a cooperatively-owned CUSO, and Payveris, a next generation online mobile digital payments company, have recently partnered to provide a fully integrated online banking and payments experience to client credit unions and their members. This partnership leverages Payveris’ modular, API-driven digital payments platform and further strengthens CU*Answers’ member-focused online banking services suite.

As a part of its commitment to continually enhancing the overall member experience, CU*Answers has made a financial investment into Payveris and the company’s efforts to innovate the payments space while keeping credit unions at the center of commerce. Additionally, CU*Answers has announced two promotional programs targeted for small- to medium-sized credit unions who are either not currently offering consumer bill pay services, or who currently have less than 150 bill pay subscribers and are anxious to take their bill pay service to a higher member participation level and at a significantly reduced cost.

The “Early Mover” promotion is targeted to CU*BASE® processed clients not currently offering electronic bill pay services today. CU*Answers will pay 50% of a qualifying credit union’s bill pay invoice for a three-year period to help them offer the service to members, if the credit union signs up for It’s Me 247 Bill Pay with transaction processing by Payveris.

The “Kick Starter” promotion is targeted for credit unions who currently have less than 150 bill pay subscribers. Under this program, CU*Answers will pay 50% of their bill pay invoice for a 1-year period if they switch to Payveris. This program also includes the Xtend CUSO Call Center for performing outbound call and e-mail campaigns to entice members to join at significantly discounted Xtend rates.

The first credit union conversions to the new CU*Answers/Payveris “native” bill pay solution are already being scheduled for November and December of 2015.
