CU*Answers announced today that it has awarded $2,500 to Michelle Broderick as the winner of its first-ever Spec Writer Contest.
The West Michigan-based CUSO known for providing its CU*BASE software in both SaaS (online) and Self Processing environments challenged its credit unions to create project specifications for an integrated software tool. Michelle, an employee of Cumberland County FCU in Falmouth, ME, submitted project ideas for CU*BASE ACH Loan Payment Tracking. According to Michelle, they wanted to reward members that demonstrate loyalty to the Credit Union by making loan payments directly from their ACH deposits. The proposed spec would create Loan Payments done via ACH to become a monthly tracking parameter included into Tiered Services scoring, which designates members a status based upon participation level with the Credit Union.
CU*Answers continued to say that requirements for the project included a Microsoft Word formatted document with a thorough big-picture introduction suitable to be adapted for a Release Summary for project implementation, as well as including mockups of related screens with explanations and illustrations of changes to be made.
