Online Answer Tools Get Daily Use by CU*Answers Clients

Employees of CU*Answers’ credit union clients find answers to their questions quickly via the CUSO’s online “AnswerBook” knowledge base tool. During January the top 10 most common searches saw 439 different separate views. According to Laura Welch-Vilker, CU*Answers Vice President, Client Services & Education, “we provide answers to common questions via the AnswerBook so our clients can get an answer any time right from their desktop.”  Although the CUSO has a phone center for 24-hour client support, Welch-Vilker says that many clients prefer just looking up their own answer, even over making a phone call. “Today people are used to Googling just about everything anyway, so having a tool that lets clients serve themselves just seems to fit.”
