Nine Credit Unions to Participate in Network Services Boot Camp

CU*Answers, a 100% credit union owned cooperative CUSO, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, recently announced the dates for the 2016 Network Services Boot Camp. This educational session on June 7th and 8th is a two day boot camp offered bi-annually by the CU*Answers Network Services (CNS) team to learn basic core product installation and troubleshooting. Day two covers network and system management practices from CNS, including reporting, security, security architecture and administration tools and standards.

This class is designed for credit union IT team members who want to gain competency with the core product deployment and support and the goal for CU*Answers is to provide a tighter integration between credit union IT staff and the CNS team. Per Matt Sawtell, AVP of CNS Department: “This boot camp provides our credit unions with the opportunity to obtain hands-on experience in owning and crafting solutions. While participants will learn plenty of in-the-weeds details about a particular topic, that’s not the main point. These events help us to grow our community of cooperative leaders. We don’t just want you to have a voice in what solutions we offer, we want you to be intimately involved in how we design, build and support them.”
