Grand Rapids, Michigan based CUSO Xtend, Inc. announced the successful launch of its first set of mobile coupon apps along with its partners at Colorado-based Relevant Solutions. According to Xtend President Scott Collins, both MidUSA Credit Union (Middletown, OH) and Frankenmuth Credit Union (Frankenmuth, MI) successfully launched their coupon apps in the past sixty days.

Collins said: “We are excited that both partners, MidUSA and Frankenmuth, signed up to be early adopters of the coupon app that Relevant and Xtend have brought to the cuasterisk.com credit union network. Both credit unions have a history of being quick to market with new solutions, so when we announced our partnership with Relevant Solutions and demonstrated a creative new product for their mobile retailing strategy, each was eager to get started. In just a short timeframe members were downloading the shopping apps from the app stores and saving money locally.” Collins also noted that each credit union took advantage of custom branding to help ensure their app had a “local flavor.”

Collins shared that there was another half dozen launches in the pipeline, and that the CUSO hoped to have more than two dozen deployments by the end of summer.
