As part of an ongoing automation initiative, CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, has completed a project automating end-of-month processing at Horizon CU in Farmington, Utah. According to OpsEngine Business Manager Jeff Miller, the ability to handle end-of-month operations in an unattended manner has been a great advantage for in-house credit unions in terms of processing accuracy and overall efficiency at end of month.
“With the completion of this project, over 70% of our in-house processing clients are now utilizing automated end of month processing tools. We anticipate completion of this initiative before the end of November 2017, which will lay the groundwork to do several other beneficial projects.”
