Gividends Maps Out Growth for Credit Unions

Gividends, a division of West Michigan-based CUSO CU*Answers, recently published the newest edition of its on-going educational series “Gividends Wants You to Know.” The series provides CU*Answers credit unions with information on how best to use the CU*BASE® core processing platform to create a focused and robust tiered service member offering. The October edition recalls the Member Demographics function of CU*BASE that lets credit unions find opportunities through a mapping tool.

Keegan Daniel, manager of Gividends, added, “This tool allows credit unions to use their existing CU*BASE data to compare member addresses to the location of your credit union branches, ATMs, competitors, or any other location that may be of interest. This may include a possible new location for an ATM or branch, so that you can visually see how many members would be in the vicinity of that new resource.”

CU*Answers added that its Gividends team is eager to work with credit unions to think of creative ways to use rewards, shares, and certificate product features to drive member participation at the credit union.
