First Ohio Community FCU Thanks CU*Answers for Saving Time

When a company changes its Company ID in the ACH network, it can cause situations where the distribution transfers do not follow resulting in a headache for both credit union and member. For $34M-First Ohio Community Federal Credit Union, this was an arduous task on their previous core processing platform requiring manual copying of distributions from the old ACH record to the new one. However, since converting to the CU*Answers core system, CU*BASE®, this task has become a breeze as distributions can be easily copied from one company ID to another.

We recently had an experience in which a former SEG company changed their company name and ID, resulting in many ACH exceptions. I was able to take all of those 175 or so payroll records and update the distribution records from the old company information to the new company information in a split second.”
