eDOC Innovations, a CUSO providing electronic document management solutions, recently teamed with the Vermont credit union community to support the March of Dimes.
Held at Quechee Club’s Lakeland and Highland Courses, the event consistently raises between four and five thousand dollars each year.
“We’re proud of what we’ve been able to do with this support,” states Roger Clapp, State Director of March of Dimes Vermont Chapter. “Since 2003, the focus of our organization nationally has been to improve awareness and results by reducing the incidence of premature birth, responsible for over half of infant deaths in the US. In Vermont, we have received a top grade the past two years in reducing premature birth. These results have been supported through March of Dimes-funded research, professional education, advocacy and community programs.”
“We are proud to participate with the community for fundraisers and awareness programs,” states Bret Weekes, President/CEO of eDOC Innovations. “Community cooperation is why credit unions were started, and supporting programs such as the March of Dimes is an example of our CUSO’s commitment to our owners, peers and their memberships,” continues Weekes.
