eDOC Innovations, a complete electronic document management systems developer and CUSO, announced it has joined the Electronic Check Clearing House Organization (ECCHO). By joining the ECCHO community, eDOC extends its influence as industry experts in Check 21 image capture and forwarding to the credit union industry. ECCHO is a community of 2,279 financial institutions, both banks and credit unions, aimed at setting standards, protecting rules, advocating to government and educating the industry on efficient methods for image exchange of check payments.
“As a CUSO, eDOC is always looking for ways to become part of the process of change for the good of our industry. ECCHO is an excellent organization that we are happy to be a part of because it gives us additional insight into pertinent electronic standards and regulations. Facing inward, these regulations are necessarily part of our product roadmaps. Facing outward, we believe our expertise will benefit everyone who has the foresight to develop an image capture strategy that is encompassed in their overall electronic document strategy,” states Jared Christiansen, Director of Sales and Marketing.
The relationship between ECCHO and eDOC Innovations enhances the eDOC CheckLogic product line, a check image capture and forwarding solution utilized by credit unions who want to leverage the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act (Check 21). CheckLogic includes branch, merchant and remote capture modules. eDOC participated as a Sponsor Organization in January, 2010.
