Delta County Credit Union Saves With eDocument Strategy

The cooperative CUSO, CU*Answers, announced eDocument strategies team manager John Beauchamp had recently visited Delta County Credit Union in Escanaba, Michigan to assist them with their eDocument strategy planning. The credit unions learned how eDocument tactics can lead to operational efficiencies and improve member service; even attract new members as the credit union’s eStrategy grows. Ultimately they learned that a good eStrategy can save the credit union thousands of dollars while accomplishing the above.

This eDocument strategy planning service is available from the CU*Answers Management Services team and includes an onsite visit to meet with the credit union team. The eDocument strategies team conducts a “walk-around” which allows them to see firsthand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the area of electronic documents. The eDocument strategies team then creates an eDocument strategy for the credit union based on observations and discussions with credit union leaders and process owners. The plan includes specific recommendations and tactics for their implementation along with any associated costs and timelines.

Brenda Lippens, President &CEOof Delta County credit union commented, “We were extremely pleased with the experience. We knew we wanted to implement an e-Document strategy but were overwhelmed with trying to determine what we needed. John came to the credit union to meet with our team to determine what our goals were and reviewed the various options for meeting these goals in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.  His analysis included a comprehensive plan document that detailed short and long-term goals for us to be able to accomplish exactly what we needed.”
