Deadline Approaching for CU*Answers Video Contest

If tomorrow there were no credit unions and you could start all over, what would you do differently when rebuilding the industry from the ground up? How would you redefine credit unions, branches, board members, and owners? How would you change the reality to speak to today?

Credit unions will have a chance to win $1500 by answering these questions as part of cooperative CUSO CU*Answers’ 9th annual video contest. The deadline for best complete video is fast approaching—entries must be submitted by May 2nd. Video entries must be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes in length and posted to YouTube or a similar service.

The best complete video contest goes alongside separate contests for best video idea and best 30 second spot idea—the winners of which will be used by CU*Answers to produce professional quality clips that credit unions can use for advertising or marketing purposes.

Winners for all three contests will be announced and unveiled at CU*Answers’ 2016 Leadership Conference held in June. “The video contest series give our credit unions an opportunity to do something fun, earn some cash, and be involved in the cooperative process,” said EVP Scott Page. “We’re looking forward to unveiling the winning entries at Leadership Conference and sharing our network’s vision for a better way forward.”
