CUSOs Reach Halfway Point on Collaborative Projects

Xtend, Inc., the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, announced that it had reached the half-way point on the first phase of collaborative resource sharing projects with rkGoBig, the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based CUSO and new Xtend partner.

Xtend President Scott Collins commented, “The first phase of our rkGoBig partnership is focused on having our staff assist with core data processing conversions for the six credit union owners of their CUSO. These services include back office bookkeeping functions, compliance monitoring, inbound and outbound call center and electronic member communication services. The team at CEO Peter Barnard’s CUSO has been great to work with, as have the staffs at Everence FCU, Viriva CU, and Department of Labor FCU. With three of the six conversion projects behind us, we are gearing up for a strong finish to this first phase of what we hope will be a long partnership.”

“We share a common goal with our partners at rkGoBig,” Collins shared, “and that is helping mid-market credit unions survive through leveraging a network of CUSO resources. We are excited to assist with this CUSO start-up effort and look forward to a busy 2016 together.”
