CUSO Completes Automated Operations Deployment

CU*Answers, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, recently launched a new automated ACH posting tool for its self-processing credit union data centers. Through this newest feature of its OpsEngine automation toolkit, in-house users of CU*BASE®, the CUSO’s flagship core data processing suite, are able to schedule the posting of ACH activity periodically throughout the day in an unattended manner.

“We are pleased to announce that we have completed the testing of this new automation tool with our partners at Fox Communities Credit Union (Appleton, WI; $1.2B assets; 84K members),” said Jeff Miller, the CUSO’s OpsEngine business manager. “We appreciate the willingness of the Fox team to help us complete the testing of this new automated process. Our focus group tells us that the streamlining of their ACH posting will help their data center operations become more effective; and the ability to post at hours when there is no staff at the CU is a huge plus. We anticipate that most, if not all of the data centers within our network will incorporate this new tool into their operational execution in the coming months.”
