Xtend, Inc., a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based multi-owned cooperative CUSO, announced recently that its 2013 Annual Stockholder’s Meeting would be moving to the J.W. Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. The meeting date was also established – June 18th.
CUSO President Scott Collins says, “This the second time in as many years that we will changing venues for our annual meeting. This latest change was necessitated by not only a growth in the number of attendees, but also our desire to shift to a downtown location where our owners could enjoy what Grand Rapids has to offer. Last year we moved the event offsite for the first time, and it was our biggest turnout ever. I expect the 2013 event will be even bigger.”
Collins concludes by noting, “When we heard that our partners at CU*Answers, Inc. (fellow Grand Rapids-based CUSO) would be moving their Annual Leadership Conference to the J.W. Marriott, we moved quickly to lock in our events. Although we are more than eight months away, we have already heard positive feedback from several owners about the new location.”
