CUSO Announces New Business Partner

CU*Answers, Inc., a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, announced recently that it has been approved as a new business partner and reseller for Franklin Square, New York-based Software Engineering of America, Inc. (SEA).  Based on this new agreement, CU*Answers will market SEA auditing and security software solutions to its credit union clients as well as provide first-level technical support to its users following deployment.  SEA software tools are a fundamental component of the CUSOs new suite of operational support services designed to help self-processing credit unions manage their data centers effectively.

“We have been utilizing audit and firewall software tools from SEA during the past year to help us manage the growing complexity of our SaaS business,” says CUSO Vice President Scott Collins, “and this new agreement allows us to leverage the knowledge we have gained during that time as a foundation for a new support service for our self-processing credit unions.  Deployment of the SEA tools within our extended enterprise will follow the model we have established for other successful operational services – become ‘power users’ of the software in our own data center, tailor it for use with our core CU*BASE® Operator Edition product suite and wrap in support services bundle.”

The CUSO reports that beta projects with the SEA security tools are already in their project queue.
