CU*OverDrive Sets Record Numbers

West Michigan-based data processing CUSO, CU*Answers, announced that its CU*OverDrive marketing service had hit record numbers in 2012. In addition to the 35 CU*Answers credit unions that had implemented the marketing service, an additional 30 had taken advantage of the free quarterly contests meant to drum up member interest.

In the first 6 months of 2012, CU*OverDrive produced over 500 contest posters, 320,000 contest statement inserts, 1,500 CU*OverDrive posters, and 800,000 CU*OverDrive statement inserts! These numbers, coupled with the large amount of traffic to OverDrive-related ads in CU*Answers’ online banking solution, It’s Me 247, demonstrate a renewed interest by credit unions in a more aggressive and effective marketing solution.
