CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based CUSO, announced a recent enhancement to its CU*BASE^® data processing software that improves on its global search function. Previously, staff had the ability to search for an account on the last four digits of the member’s credit card; the enhancement now enables staff to search based on ATM and debit cards. The search results will indicate the type of card and when the card was last used. The global search tool also conveniently indicates the hot card status on the card by highlighting the record in red.

The CUSO added that expanding the software’s capability to search by any type of card allows tellers to more quickly and efficiently serve members.
