CU*Answers, a core data processing CUSO, recently released the top ten questions credit unions were researching in the CUSO’s AnswerBook knowledge database during May. The top ten questions and answers researched all related to the CU*Answers file expansion project, currently in progress. A CU*Answers spokesperson stated that the file expansion project marks a major structural change to the CU*BASE^® core processing platform and sets the foundation for years of development.

Of note, the change will allow credit unions to allow deposit and loan balances of up to $999,999,999.99. CU*Answers added that ten credit unions have already been converted to the beta-version of the revised platform. Ongoing rollout of the product to CU*BASE credit unions will continue on through the fall.
