CU*Answers, a 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, has recently seen an increase in the number of clients interested in its new video customization service, which offers a new way of marketing to members. Through educational marketing, credit unions can gain member loyalty by teaching them how to use their products and services.
Understanding the importance and efficacy of educational marketing, one CU*Answers client recently subscribed to CU*Answers’ Deluxe video customization service. For a slightly higher fee than the Basic service, clients who subscribe to the Deluxe service can have CU*Answers staff customize the logo, voiceover, and even the software of any of its existing online banking video tutorials. This particular client was also interested in commissioning CU*Answers to create a new online banking video tutorial on e statement enrollment.
At the completion of the project, the client feedback was excellent. The client was very happy with how well the finalized videos reflected the culture and branding of their credit union, stating “CU*Answers really did a nice job branding it to us.” Another client who recently had videos customized as part of CU*Answers video customization service remarked “We are happy with the viewership given the little to no digital promotion we’ve given [members] thus far.”
