CU*Answers Values Employee Development

When meeting with a potential job candidate, the Organizational Resource Development Team at CU*Answers always stresses the CUSO’s desire to “grow their own.” If an employee has the right attitude and drive, opportunity within this company is wide ranging. This is very apparent in the ORD sponsored Employee Participation Program, where employees are encouraged to take advantage of classes taught by their peers, introducing staff to the work each team at CU*Answers does. In addition to classes introducing staff to the various departments, classes on network and building security are required to explain how CU*Answers keeps its client data safe. Staff also has the option of utilizing the Learning Center to become educated in an online environment by taking any of over 100 web-based classes.

CU*Answers is currently wrapping up the 2016 EPP cycle by ensuring that each employee has met their required classes for the fiscal year. Staff and management level employees are required to take a mix of classes including employee and management development classes, security and technology classes, building security, and harassment prevention. “By requiring our employees to take these classes, we are contributing to their growth and thereby their success in their career,” said Susanna Wojtkowiak, Organization Development Administrator.
