Starting with the 2016 tax year CU*Answers Imaging Solutions will be providing credit unions with the opportunity to leverage online tax documents for their members. Credit unions can opt to have members’ tax documents (e.g. 1098 and 1099 forms) placed online with their account statements for an added convenience to the member. No longer will a member need to contact the credit union for a lost or missing tax document. Instead they can access their documents right from online banking. This will have the effect of reducing calls to the call centers at credit unions as members can self-serve to obtain their documents. For the member, making these documents easily accessible just made doing their taxes a little bit easier!
