CU*Answers Rolls Out Net Relationships Dashboard

CU*Answers recently rolled out a new dashboard with the goal of identifying members’ net relationship with the credit union. Often credit unions wonder whether they have more savers than borrowers. The question by itself can be difficult for many credit unions to answer using their core system. For credit unions of the West Michigan-based CUSO, this is no longer a difficult question to answer using the Net Relationships dashboard in the CU*BASE® system. The Net Relationships dashboard allows the user to analyze the entire membership (or a segment of it) to see how many net savers and net borrows there are, and can also use the dashboard to identify members with a net zero relationship (typically those sitting at a zero balance) or who are net negative (negative savings accounts/overpaid loans).

From there, credit unions have the ability to perform a deep level of analysis on the segment they choose, to analyze their patronage and average balances. There’s also the added ability to export results to the CU*BASE Member Connect marketing tool, which makes contacting that group easy.

Scott Page, EVP of Sales at CU*Answers said, “This is just one more tool that CU*Answers is giving their credit unions to help them understand their membership better and to help them be more profitable. And the great part is, this and many other dashboards we’re adding to the core platform on a regular basis come at no additional cost to our credit unions—that’s the advantage that comes with being part of a 100% credit union-owned CUSO.”
