CU*Answers Overhauls Budget Software in CU*BASE®

With the 14.3 release of its CU*BASE core processing platform, CU*Answers has rewritten the budgeting software and analysis tools. The project was a from-the-ground-up rewrite meant to add a whole list of new features and benefits. Among some of the more highly anticipated changes are the ability to create budget groups, which are critical to taking advantage of the new variance analysis tools; the ability to run multiple passes to do what-if calculations and complete the budget a section at a time; and a new variance dashboard to compare plan with actual performance.

Scott Page, EVP of Sales noted, “Budgeting in CU*BASE is more powerful than ever, but that also means it has added a new level of complexity. Our teams have already documented the new features extensively, but our Earnings Edge division is also offering consulting services to set credit unions on the right path with the new tools.”

Page added that the entire 14.3 release was provided to credit unions on the platform at no additional cost.
