CU*Answers Offers Financial Rewards for Beta Testers

CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, is gearing up for the 13.0 release of its CU*BASE® core data processing system and will begin rewarding credit unions that volunteer to beta test new releases by offering a financial incentive. As announced last year at their June Leadership Conference, CU*Answers is offering a CollabRebate of $2500 to $5,000 for each credit union that actively participates in the beta testing.

Per a CU*Answers representative, “We recognize that beta-testing is an added challenge for our credit unions and their teams. We also know how important a good beta-test is for the success of our releases with all of our clients. So we’re putting our money where our mouth is by offering a CollabRebate reward for active beta-test participants.”

As part of the CollabRebate program, CU*Answers credit unions who participate in the program for the 13.0 release will receive a one-time $3,000 credit on their monthly data processing invoice. They added that the amount offered for each of the 2-3 major releases each year would vary based on the number of projects implemented and the relative complexity of the release.
