CU*Answers offers clients unique tune-up opportunity

CU*Answers, data processor to nearly 200 credit unions nationwide, now offers its Lender*VP clients a one-of-a-kind lending tune-up. As part of this new opportunity, credit union lending staff have the chance to work directly with Pete Winninger, CU*Answers VP of Professional Services/Lender*VP, to ensure their lending team is operating as efficiently as possible. “The tune-up is a unique service that CU*Answers has never offered before,” Winninger pointed out.

The tune-up, which is free of charge, aims to help clients better leverage key CU*BASE® lending tools to increase efficiencies. “As part of the tune-up, I work directly with clients to ensure that they are using every CU*BASE lending tool to its maximum potential,” Winninger explained. The service involves an in-depth analysis of credit union loan processes, products, decision model, promotional efforts, and reporting, among other key areas of interest. “What I am looking to do is take a snapshot of the credit union before and after the engagement to assess the impact the tune-up has made on credit union lending operations,” Winninger noted. “Along with helping credit unions strengthen their lending strategies, I want to create champions of the CU*BASE lending tool set.”
