CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned, cooperative CUSO, recently announced that it is launching integrated investment accounts. With the rollout of 13.0 software version of its data processing platform, CU*BASE^®, CU*Answers will initiate the It’s Me 247 Investment Center as a launching point for current and prospective credit union members to create an investment portfolio through its online banking platform. CU*Answers is partnering with CUSO Financial Services (CFS) to create an integrated solution that credit unions of any size can plug into their business plan.

Executive Vice President Scott Page called the new partnership “a huge opportunity for our customer-owners” during a recent web conference that introduced CUSO Financial Services to a group of more than sixty credit unions. “Many mid-market credit unions have been unable to call member investment services a core competency compared to their larger industry peers,” Mr. Page goes on to say. “We believe every credit union needs an investment program offering in order to survive and thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace. As a CUSO, we are investing in such a program to help you bring solutions to your members.”
