CU*Answers, the 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, recently announced that it has deployed the ability for credit unions to upload lists of prospective members from external sources and import them directly into its CU*BASE^® data processing system.

“This is a huge feature upgrade for credit unions that may be working with third-party data sources—credit unions can now import member applications from a comma-delimited file and the system will allow for capture of that data, even assigning an imitation social security if the data does not contain one,” said Scott Page, EVP.

“This process will allow credit unions at tradeshows or events to capture potential members’ information and then contact them, track marketing initiative ROI and perform analytics throughout the life of that potential member’s relationship with the credit union.”
