The CU*Answers Imaging Solutions team recently released their new Vault Manager Product to allow credit unions with an in-house imaging vault to monitor electronic documents as they flow from the workstation to the credit union’s chosen imaging vault. The product will also be used by CU*Answers staff administering the image vault for credit unions with an online solution.
“As consumers, we expect our chosen products to always work as intended,” said John Beauchamp, Manager of Imaging Solution. “Whether it’s your cell phone or computer software, we can often be caught unprepared when something doesn’t work. The Vault Manager’s purpose is to provide credit unions with a tool to ensure their chosen imaging solution is working as intended, and that saved electronic documents are making the trip from workstation to vault. So often we click save and forget about it only to find years later when we need those documents that they never made the trip—Vault Manager helps to prevent that from happening.”
Staff will now be able to monitor the process that moves the documents to verify they are transferred in a timely manner. Additionally, the product will alert staff if any of the components necessary to support this process become unavailable or unresponsive. This product provides the credit union much greater visibility to aide them with their due diligence as it applies to their imaging solution.
