The 100% owned CUSO hosted their 23rd Annual Golf Outing at Saskatoon Golf Course in Alto, MI on June 19, 2014. This event concluded the CUSO’s week long events during the Leadership Conference Week. The Leadership Conference ran from June 17-19, 2014.
The week’s events were held at the JW Marriott, in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The CUSO’s partner network, Xtend, kicked off the week’s events by hosting their annual Stockowners meeting alongside the Xtend X-Factor meeting. The night concluded with a cocktail hour that included a giveaway of 3 pairs of tickets to the Bruno Mars concert. The CUSO’s CEO, Randy Karnes, lead the conference held on Wednesday, June 18th, with over 250 attendees.
The conclusion of the week was welcomed with cool dry weather for the clients, owners, vendors, and staff participating in the golf outing. Golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf, a variety of contest holes followed by a raffle and lunch. Participants showed their cooperative spirit during the betting hole contest with donations of their wins and losses to the Children’s Miracle Network. The CUSO donated over $550.00 to the Children’s Miracle Network from contests conducted at the golf outing.
