April was National Records and Information month. Managing information effectively is central to CU*Answers’ success as a CUSO. Failing to manage information can result in reduced profitability and productivity. That’s why CU*Answers held a RIM Awareness week during April, during which the CUSO shared information management best practices with all its staff.

At the start of each day during the week, an email was sent out announcing that day’s activity, event, or contest to get staff involved. The activities included:

• Monday: Paper Records Day
• Tuesday: Liaison Day
• Wednesday: RIM Awareness EPP Day
• Thursday: e-Records Day
• Friday: Game show contest

The grand finale of the RIM Awareness Week’s events was the Family Feud game held in the training room, in which eight teams participated. Last year’s winning team RIMaging Solutions tried to retain their title however “The RIM” (Real Immature Misfits) outscored them in the final round.
