CU*Answers Extends Free Text Banking for Clients

When CU*Answers introduced It’s Me 247 Mobile Text Banking to its base of over 200 credit union clients, it was offered at no charge to credit unions for an 18-month period, to help CUs gather an audience among their members.  At its 2012 annual Leadership Conference held in June, CU*Answers extended this free period all the way to October 2013, giving credit unions another 18 months to establish their text banking presence to members.

It’s Me 247 Mobile Text Banking allows members to quickly check accounts balances from anywhere, any time, and also includes real-time, text alerts for things like balances, loan payments coming due, even ACH deposits and withdrawals posted. The text banking product includes an automated member pricing component to allow CUs to offer the service for a monthly charge or on a per-text basis, with integrated relationship waivers. It is a companion to the popular suite of It’s Me 247 online banking and mobile web banking products offered by the CUSO to nearly 200 credit unions across the country within the cuasterisk.com network.
