CU*Answers announced today the top ten questions most googled by clients about their core processing software CU*BASE. These questions were searched for in the Answer Book, the CU*Answers knowledgebase, and were ranked according to the number of time clients searched for and viewed an answer. Over 150 searches were made of the top ten questions alone. Topping the list, clients were most interested in answers to the following questions: “Where in CU*BASE can I view all the credit bureaus to which we report?” (with 34 views), “Why does CU*Answers allow complete and open access to CU*BASE documentation to anyone over the Internet” (with 30 views), and “Does CU*BASE support a beginning and ending date when the temporary address should be used for statements and notices?” (with 15 views).
Additional questions clients were interested in dealt with CU*BASE compliance to Red Flag regulations (15 views), if CU*BASE supported reopening a closed membership with the same account number (15 views), and what verifications were done to an email address entered in either It’s Me 247, CU*Answers’ online banking product, or CU*BASE, its core processing software (10 views).
Based on the analysis, clients were also very interested in OFAC verification of names associated with accounts. Two questions, “Does CU*BASE support batch OFAC verification of all names in the database including primary names, secondary names, and co-borrowers?” and “Does CU*BASE support real-time OFAC verification of any names added to accounts (secondary names, name changes, co-borrowers, etc.)?” appeared in the top ten list.
