CU*Answers is pleased to announce Scott Collins as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketplace Development. Collins will be responsible for the leadership of the CU*Answers sales team, managing the core software sales for the CUSO and identifying new opportunities for strategic partnerships.
Collins is a well-known figure at CU*Answers, where he has worked as a member of the management team for the last fourteen years, while also serving as the president of sister CUSO Xtend Inc. during that time.
“Over the last decade, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of professionals that are focused on the success of credit unions and our industry,” Collins said. “With this new opportunity I look forward to working with my peers on the CU*Answers Executive Council team to not only drive the growth of our CUSO, but also to bring our value proposition to more customer-owners and strategic partners in the next decade.”
Collins replaces Scott Page as the EVP of Sales, who has taken on a new role with CU*Answers as the development manager for CU*Answers’ new Developer’s Help Desk (DHD) initiative. Under Page’s tenure as manager and eventually EVP of Sales, CU*Answers has grown from approximately $1 million in total revenue to over $50 million in 2016, and has given back over $17 million in patronage and bonus dividends to clients.
“I have tough shoes to fill,” Collins added. “Scott Page is not only my great friend, he is the great friend of hundreds of professionals in our industry and a huge advocate of the credit union movement. I look forward to working closely with him on the transition and to have him as a mentor moving forward.”
