CU*Answers Announces New Credit Card Dashboard

For credit unions utilizing its CU*BASE® processing system, CU*Answers has introduced its newest dashboard for helping clients better understand their online credit card portfolio. They said unlike the previously introduced EFT Portfolio Dashboard, designed to show how members are using plastics, and a Loan Portfolio Analysis Dashboard, which provides a picture of loan rates across their entire loan portfolio, this new Credit Card Portfolio Dashboard allows clients to focus solely on credit cards. With options to select based on loan category, purpose and security codes, branch numbers, or loan officer IDs, clients are able to investigate further into…

Transactions – viewing the totals of Payments received, cash advances, balance transfers, finance charges posted, late fines posted, number of accounts with balances, total balances of all loans, number of accounts without balances, and number of accounts with finance charges.

Reissues – viewing totals of cards that are pending reissue within the upcoming months, plus calculate any expense associated with those reissues.

Rate Detail – reviewing member’s rate buckets by member, current balance, and rate, including any promotional rate buckets.

Comparative Analysis – reviewing the analysis of your Categories, BINs, Rewards, Members, Cards, Balance, and Weighted Average Rate over client selected periods of time.

Clients are then able to export either a full list or desired member data directly to Member Connect, which provides multiple options to electronically communicate with targeted members, such as via online banking, statement messages, e-mail correspondence and more.

The credit card analysis dashboard is also included as a part of its CU*BASE Active Beta program, a unique offering which allows CU*Answers to deliver software to its clients more quickly by expanding traditional QC testing processes into a real-world (live) environment. The program offers another way in which CU*BASE clients participate directly with CU*Answers for helping develop as well as test, critique and provide direct feedback for helping fine-tune the functionality.
