CU*Answers Announces Enhancements to SAR Functionality

West Michigan-core processor, CU*Answers, has enhanced its teller SAR/fraud alert functionality. Until now credit unions only had the option of blanket activation of the SAR/fraud alert tool. With the 16.05 release to the CU*BASE® core data processing system, credit unions will now have control over which activity will be used to activate the warning window. This allows CU*Answers credit unions to narrow the scope of the warning to ensure that tellers pay proper attention to it. Additionally, instead of only the current day’s activity, credit unions can elect to trigger the warning based on activity from one day ago up to nine days ago. This is helpful for warning tellers about transactions that occurred on the account over a weekend or on a holiday.
