CU*Answers, located in Grand Rapids, MI, and Site-Four, located in Yankton, SD, have joined forces to extend operating capacity and capability through a co-located production center initiative.

Says Todd Underhill, OpsEngine production center Operations Manager. “The operators at CU*Answers are now remotely performing Site-Four operational processing. This will be an ongoing, quarterly strategy that will allow operators from either site to video conference and to collaborate on processing activity. They will be able to share daily processing functions from either site across all shifts.”

The co-location agreement is also another important piece in the regular improvements being made as a part of the CU*Answers business continuity and disaster preparedness systems. Underhill adds, “This also allows us to provide reciprocal support for high availability systems and a dedicated hot site for disaster recovery.”
