CU*Answers, the West Michigan-based cooperative CUSO, has added another client to their growing list of clients for which they handle collections. A credit union with approximately 180 million dollars in assets and nearly 28,000 member has agreed to hire them to work on a specific segment of their loan portfolio. Jerry Collins, Collections Team Leader at CU*Answers said: “This is an exciting step for CU*Answers as we have always done all or none of the collections work for clients. Working on only a specific segment of a credit union’s loan portfolio will improve our skills and techniques, and is sure to enhance our services moving forward.”

The credit union has the added advantage of being able to test out the work from CU*Answers and be in the driver’s seat to craft a completely unique engagement tailored to their needs. The Collections Team strives to meet clients’ needs and thus is constantly expanding offerings and changing as a group.
