Boot Camp at CU*Answers

CU*Answers, a 100% credit union-owned CUSO, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan announces the 2016 Boot Camp series. Boot Camps are intensive interactions between CU*Answers design, development, and technical leaders with credit union participants, covering subject matter at a deeper level than is typical for most education and focus group sessions at CU*Answers.

While participants will learn plenty of in-the-weeds details about a particular topic, that’s not the main goal. Boot Camp sessions will help grow a community of cooperative leaders. Scott Page, CU*Answers EVP of Sales said, “We don’t just want our credit unions to have a voice in what solutions we offer; we want them to be intimately involved with how we design, build and support them. The primary goal is to engage our credit unions as our owners to help us deliver something they want to consume.”

Boot Camp topics include “What Makes Data Valuable,” “Building Solutions as a Co-op” and “Network Services Boot Camp.” Twelve students (one per credit union) will be selected from applicants to attend the series. Representatives must attend all four 2-day sessions and complete all homework assignments prior to the next course. Attendance is free with lodging and food included. Selected representatives must travel at their own expense. CU*Answers Boot Camp series begins November 2015 and ends August 2016.
