West Michigan-based core data processor, CU*Answers, announced that Battle Creek Area Community Credit Union successfully converted to the CU*BASE data processing system in the first week of February. The credit union represents 1,900 members and $19.2 million in assets. Per a credit union representative, “Now we will be able to do a lot of things we were not able to do on our previous system because of the cost our old data processor would have charged us.”

Among the new services Battle Creek Area was able to offer its members was bill pay. The credit union added CU*Answers’ new It’s Me 247 Bill Pay service, with payment processing by Payveris. “We set our prices to fit the income statements of our clients, first,” said CU*Answers EVP Scott Page. “We develop solutions and price them to fit all our credit unions, regardless of size. We’re excited to see Battle Creek Area Community CU join the CU*Answers family, and happy that as a partner we can help them to offer their members new and improved services.”
