Annual Video Contest Offers 3 Ways to Win

CU*Answers has unveiled its 4th Annual Video Contest, and for 2011, the Grand Rapids-based CUSO has upped the ante.  Rather than awarding one prize only for Best Video Idea, participants can also contend for Best Complete Video and Best Jingle.

As with previous years, the winning video concept will be fleshed out by CU*Answers and Grand Rapids-based production company, Fulvew, and premiered at the CUSO’s Annual Leadership Event on a big screen, during which time the Best Complete Video and Best Jingle will also be unveiled. Contestants will be vying for their chance to win a portion of $4,500 ($1,500 prize for the winner of each category).

The Contest theme for 2011 is “Our Credit Union is a Community”, and entrants are encouraged to illustrate their key communities and involvement within them.  The winner will be added to the collection of member-focused videos made available by Fulvew for full customization and branding for clients to use in their lobbies or websites as desired.  Previous winners include 2010’s “Your Credit Union is Everywhere”, submitted by Farrah Star of Service 1 FCU, 2009’s winner “My Credit Union: Realized Dreams Start Here” and the Inaugural “The Owners are Coming” in 2008.  These videos and others can be viewed at
