CU*Answers, a 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO, recently announced the winners of its first Share & Win contest. Credit unions participating in CU*Answers’ quarterly service enrollment contest for members were encouraged to demonstrate how they were promoting the contest for a chance to guarantee a member from their credit union a prize. Service 1 Federal Credit Union in Muskegon, Michigan, and Bay Area Credit Union in Oregon, Ohio, were the chosen winners out of the twenty-six credit unions that submitted entries. Both credit unions best demonstrated their creativity in promoting the mobile banking contest to increase member use, and won an Apple Watch guaranteeing their credit union a winning member.
Credit unions were asked to share photos and ideas of how they promoted mobile banking marketing materials on their website, social media, emails, in their lobbies, etc. Janelle Krupa, Marketing and Creative Services Administrator at CU*Answers stated, “We developed the Share & Win contest to help increase contest participation numbers and results, to help spread member awareness of products and services, and to share our credit unions’ ideas with one another.” To view all submissions, visit the CU*Answers Marketing website.
CU*Answers plans to run a Share & Win contest each quarter and encourages credit unions to participate in the remaining contests for 2017.
