Two multi-owned cooperative CUSOs, Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Xtend, Inc. and Liberty Lake, Washington-based CU*NorthWest, announced a partnership whereby CU*Northwest credit union clients would receive Xtend electronic messaging and outbound call center services at a reduced rate, and that CU*NorthWest would absorb all fees on behalf of its clients. The CUSOs reached an agreement to have one year of Xtend’s Member Reach HTML delivery service and one outbound Xtend RevGen call campaign sponsored by CU*NorthWest.
Xtend President Scott Collins said: “When Greg [Smith, CU*NorthWest CEO] and I started talking about it during his Annual Leadership Conference this past June, we were both looking for something that could engage members directly and also drive loan activity for his customer-owners. From an Xtend standpoint, we were looking for a way to increase utilization of our Member Reach and call center services in our network, which includes Greg’s credit unions. I believe what we came up with was a win-win, and I commend his Board of Directors for helping make it happen.”
Collins continued: “My team is excited to demonstrate the value of both Member Reach and outbound lending calls to our credit union partners out west, and the launch preparation has already started. Although onboarding nearly three dozen clients in such a short period of time will challenge our team, I am confident that several of these new launches will turn into long-term Xtend clients.”
