CU*Answers Announces a New Presence Over Video Initiative in the Client Services and Education Team

The West-Michigan based cooperative CUSO, CU*Answers, is pleased to announce that the Client Services and Education Team has been promoting the Presence Over Video (POV) initiative by using video technology for training and support over the last year.

“This initiative began with MidUSA Credit Union, using technology from Buffalo Pacific to meet on a monthly basis, offering training in different areas of the core processing software, CU*BASE®. In addition to this team, multiple teams across the organization are joining the effort based on requested training by MidUSA CU,” stated Laura Welch-Vilker VP of Client Services and Education. Welch-Vilker added, “It has been a great experience, and now we are pushing forward with POV using Lync, WebEx and Skype. The Client Services and Education Team wants to show how effective using POV can be. Offering a face with a name makes a client contact so much better, and I believe strengthens our relationships with our clients. We don’t use it with every contact. However, in the months of June, July and August the Client Services and Education Team logged 304 POV contacts.”
