CU*Answers has announced that it’s annual CEO Strategies Conference and CEO Roundtable will be conducted during the week of November 7-11, 2011. CU*Answers stated that this popular CEO only session is completed in two separate sessions during the week; either a Monday – Wednesday, or Wednesday – Friday option.
CU*Answers said the agenda’s for these two sessions are identical, with Wednesday being scheduled as an “overlap day”. This year includes a CEO Collaboration, allowing CEO’s to do some brainstorming about a hot topic of the day, such as Starting a Business in the CU*Answers network. Day 2 is provided as a CEO School – intended as a coaching strategy for how CU*BASE processing may be interactively used by a credit union team in analyzing its on-going business plan, and help identifying new opportunities.
The popular CEO Roundtable session is a unique event designed to create a new style of focus group to address topics and concerns unique to CEO’s. CU*Answers said CEO’s join in open, frank discussions about business plans as pertaining to both the CU*Answers CUSO and their credit unions, how participants see and wish to respond collectively to various issues, and the potential for adding new partners and businesses during the coming year.
In addition to these facilitated discussions, a portion of time is allocated at the end of each day in allowing CEO’s to network with other peers in a more casual, social setting. One of the primary goals of CEO Strategies week is to provide an opportunity for CEO’s to interact with peers and learn strategies for returning to their credit unions and energizing teams to dive into new ideas.
