Xtend upgrades Member Reach communication services to Marketing Cloud

West Michigan CUSO, Xtend, recently informed client credit unions about upcoming changes to its Member Reach program. Member Reach provides the opportunity to deliver regularly scheduled emails to credit union members, promoting products, welcoming new members to the credit union, informing members of milestones with their membership, about reward programs, and more.

Previously, Member Reach emails were delivered through Vertical Response. As of June 1st, 2018, Xtend will be moving Member Reach to Marketing Cloud. This new platform will grant Member Reach clients additional communication options, as well as features that will be rolled out over the next year, including enhanced reporting, customizable landing pages and microsites, and geofencing capabilities.

“Marketing Cloud will increase our output, drive more member communication for our credit unions, and keep cost low for program base and monthly fees,” said CEO Liz Winninger. “This new platform will also let us work with all credit unions, not just those on the CU*BASE® core processing platform, without increasing our processing labor time, introducing more credit unions to the cuasterisk.com network.”

Clients were provided with an overview of the benefits, while also being notified that the move to a new platform would not cost current Member Reach clients any additional amount, as Xtend wishes to invest in this platform for the benefit of their CUSO credit unions.
